A return to the analog roots of design, pencil on paper and vellum has always been an essential foundation of my creative process. Having been drawing since earliest memories, hand sketching and rendering has furthermore became an indispensable tool of the trade, and a formative part of my early career as an architect at Pursley Dixon Studio. The act of creating in this way, as I am accustomed to, allows a project to be born from a clean slate, a clean sheet of paper, in the mindset of authenticity and tradition.
